William Shelton Wright, Jr.

William Shelton Wright, Jr., age 63 of Gasburg, VA passed away March 18, 2023.  He is the son of the late William Sr. and Ellie “Cookie” Wright. He is survived by his significant other, Betty King; his children, Andrew Wright, Joshua Wright (Brittany) and Thomas Wright (Allison Fisher); his grandchildren, Brayden and Brently; and two sisters, Susan Wright and Phyllis Watson.  A graveside funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Wright Family Cemetery, Hope Lane, Brodnax, VA.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 at Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family at gofund.me/o2d77ccc.
