William Tracy Powell

William Tracy Powell, age 54, a lifelong resident of Brunswick County, VA, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021.He was preceded in death by his parents, Moses and Delois Davis Powell. Tracy was employed by The Scotts Company for 36 years as a heavy equipment operator. He had over 30 years of dedicated fire service with Lawrenceville Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Mitzi P. Powell; daughter, Allison Powell Peszko and husband, Steffan; sisters, Deborah Powell Thomas and Rodessa Powell Whitby; sister-in-law, Abbe P. Thomas; brother-in-law, Skeeter Poythress, six nieces and nephews, and four God children. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Williams Funeral Home & Crematory in Lawrenceville.
