William E. "Bill" Morgan, III

William E. “Bill” Morgan, III, 79, of Church Road, VA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.He was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, June Morgan, parents, William and Antoinette Morgan, sister, Lucy Morgan Childress, mother and father-in-law, William and Millie Keen, and brother-in-law, William “Bill” Keene. He is survived by his beloved family, son and daughter in law, Todd and Wendy Morgan, daughter, Tammy Morgan, and daughter and son-in-law, Tracey and Tony Staton. Four grandsons who he deeply cherished, Aaron Morgan and wife Jessi, and great grandson due in March, Jackson Scott Morgan, Adam Morgan and wife, Lauren and great granddaughter, Rylie Renee Morgan, Zachary Staton, and Tanner Staton. Two granddaughters, Ashlee (Troy) Bonds and Courtney Staton. He is also survived by a brother, Tommy Morgan and wife, Terry and niece and nephew, Kiera and Jonathan Morgan. He leaves behind devoted brother and sister-in-law, Horace and Louise Henshaw, niece Pam (Mike) Christopher, nephews, Keith (Tonya) Henshaw, and Ken Henshaw. He is survived by brother in laws, Campbell (Nancye) Keene, Robbie (Nancy) Keen, and sister-in-law, Sheila Keene. Bill leaves behind his mall buddy brigade, Lloyd Pugh, Ronnie Robertson, Ronnie Wicks, and Martha Lee. Bill was a great athlete and avid sports fan. He rarely missed his kids’ or grandsons’ ballgames and traveled all over to support them. He was a devoted member of Central Baptist Church for over 50 years, serving on the Deacon Board, Head of Deacons, and Men’s Sunday School Class teacher for numerous years. He was the retired owner of Morgan Motor Sales for over 27 years. The family would like to thank James River Hospice, Diane Williams, Diane Watson, and Brandie Hickenlooper for the help and care given to our Dad these last few months. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 6, 2021 at Southlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Williams Funeral Home & Crematory of Lawrenceville, VA.
