Wanda Simmons Whitby

Wanda Renee Simmons Whitby, age 44, of Lawrenceville, VA passed away February 1, 2023. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Emma and Peter Thompson.

She is survived by her mother, Lucy Kaywood; her father John Simmons, Sr.; her special friend of eight years, Charlie Wayne McMichael; her children, Daniel Whitby, Joyce Satterfield and Jesse Satterfield; her brothers, John Simmons and wife Barbara and Bryan Kaywood; her niece, Ahmari Baker; her ex-husband and friend, Leslie “Tubby” Whitby; special friends, Ronnie Lewis McMichael, Ray Charles McMichael, Mabeline McMichael Dotson and Latrice McMichael.
