Vivian Irene Humphreys

Vivian Irene “Rene” Humphreys, age 88, a lifelong resident of Freeman, VA, passed away Friday, July 3, 2020. The daughter of the late William Otis and Ruby Mae Simms Powell, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lee Humphreys, and a sister, Kathleen Powell Daniel. She will be remembered as a devoted caregiver, having cared for several of her family members in their final days. Mrs. Humphreys is survived by a nephew, Dale Daniel as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Crestview Memorial Park, La Crosse, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
