Timothy Mark Lewis, age 67, of McKenney, VA, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene Lewis and Edith Brockwell; a brother, Steve Lewis, a sister, Audrey Persinger; a son, Ryan Edwards; and a nephew, Dylan Lewis.
Tim enjoyed many years of driving semi-trucks. His favorite quote was “It ain’t cool if your chrome don’t shine.” In his free time he loved being in the woods hunting, on the course playing golf, on his John Deere cutting the lawn, watching true crime shows, and spending time with family; especially with his grandkids at Lake Gaston. Tim always had many stories of his time on the road and times with friends. Tim was a faithful and loyal husband, father, brother, and friend. His presence will be incredibly missed by many.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Loretta Lewis; his children, Aaron Lewis and wife, Karen, Stacey Parks and husband, David, Jessica Williams and husband, Lee, and B.J. Edwards and wife Sonny; grandchildren, Jordan, Dalton, Reese, Ayden, Delaney, Everly, Summer, and Natalie; a great-granddaughter, Willow; a sister, Angel Faulkner; sister-in-law, Dian Lewis; nephews, Stevie and Clint Lewis; and a niece, Niki Powell.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at Williams Funeral Home & Crematory in Lawrenceville, VA. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 5:00 p.m.
