Thelma Lucille Taylor Smart

Thelma Lucille Taylor Smart, age 92, of Littleton, N.C. passed away January 6, 2019. She is the daughter of the late Jesse and Bettie Taylor. She is preceded in death by her husband, Perry Woodrow Smart, Sr.; her sister, Lula Maye Taylor Hall; and her brothers, John Richard Taylor, Talbott Milton Taylor, Jesse Benjamin Taylor, Jr., Robert Lincoln Taylor, Claude Wesley Taylor, Eugene Hampton Taylor, Raymond Beane Taylor and William David Taylor. She is survived by her two children, Debra L. Smart and Perry Woodrow Smart, Jr. and his wife Deborah; her grandchildren, Brian Smart and wife Carly, Bradley Smart and wife Hattie and Krystle Smart and fiancé Brett Werblow; her great grandchildren, Eleanor Elizabeth Smart, Brian Woodrow “Rowe” Smart, Jr. and Sawyer Rodgers Smart; her sister, Mary Elizabeth Taylor Creasey; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday at Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday at Olive Branch United Methodist Church, Gasburg, VA with interment at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Olive Branch United Methodist Church, 4141 Gasburg Rd., Gasburg, VA 23857.
