Susan Redford Blocher

Susan Redford Blocher, age 69, of Little River, S.C., passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018. She retired from the Chesterfield County Planning Department. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley Pleasant and Evelyn Malone Redford and a sister, Claudette R. Ragland. Susan is survived by her husband, Paul H. Blocher; two brothers, Wesley “Ricky” Redford, Jr. of Cartersville, VA and Timothy M. Redford of Floyd, VA; one niece, Chelsea Mathis; and three nephews, Lennon, Jeremy, and Jesse Redford. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, March 5, 2018 at Bethany United Methodist Church, Brodnax, VA. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions in Susan’s memory may be made to Bethany U.M.C., 3847 Governor Harrison Parkway, Brodnax, VA 23920. Williams Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, VA will be handling the arrangements.
