Shelby Jones Gibson

Shelby Jones Gibson, age 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 19, 2021 at her home. A longtime resident of Lawrenceville, VA, she was a retired sewing machine operator. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Lawrence Jones, Sr. and Rosa Belle Mullins Jones; a sister, Dorothy J. Farlow; and a brother, Richard L. Jones, Jr. She was widowed by Arthur B. Coley and Carlton W. Gibson. Mrs. Gibson is survived by her daughters, Jeanette J. Bollinger and Jane J. Wood; step-sons, Tony Gibson, David Gibson, Mike Gibson, and Timmy Gibson, as well as a host of other family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Williams Funeral Home & Crematory, Lawrenceville, VA.
