Sharon Harver Tereschenko, age 74, of Church Road, VA, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

Sharon lived a life marked by strength, compassion, and quiet determination. She was known for her caring heart, her dedication to those she loved, and the way she made others feel seen and supported. Throughout her life, Sharon built meaningful connections and left a lasting impact on the people around her through her kindness and generosity.

She valued family, friendship, and the everyday moments that brought comfort and joy. Sharon’s presence was steady and reassuring, and her memory will remain a source of love and inspiration to all who knew her.

Sharon will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Maurice Harver and Alice Rose Harver. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Leo Tereschenko, Jr; her children, Stephanie Lynn Jackson (Frankie), Pam Welton, Shannon Knight, Mikey Welton (Katie); her stepchildren, Chris Tereschenko (Alicia), Dawn Tereschenko, Rosa Chrisman (Justin); siblings, Alton Harver (Bonnie), Alan Harver (Debbie), Crystal Collins (Aubrey); 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Sharon is known for her love of family, Mustangs, horses, Elvis Presley, and her dogs, Sassy, Cody, and Hannah. The family would like to say a special thank you to the Trinity Hospice nurses: Angeline Smith and Lori Moody.

A funeral service to celebrate Sharon’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Corinth United Methodist Church, 8721 Cox Road, Ford, VA 23850, followed by interment in the church cemetery. Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather for a reception in the fellowship hall of the church.
