Samuel Drewrey Major

Samuel Drewrey Major, age 69, of Lawrenceville, VA passed away February 4, 2019. He is the son of the late Samuel and Marjorie Major. He is survived by his wife, Marion King Major; his children, Christopher Allen Major of South Hill, Robert Allen Major of Emporia and Shannon Major Oster of Prince George; eight grandchildren; his sister, Susie Ross of Jacksonville, FL; his brother, Ronald Major of Lawrenceville; and two uncles, Donald Finch of Mechanicsville and Gerald Finch of Chase City. A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Lawrenceville Baptist Church. The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
