Sally Sanborn Grizzard

Sally Sanborn Grizzard, age 84, of Emporia, VA passed away July 23, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Alice Sanborn and her son, Franklin Grizzard, Jr. She is survived by her sons, Wayne Wong, Cyran “PY” Wong , Robert Dale Grizzard and Carl E. “Dinky” Grizzard; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; her brother, Robert Sanborn, Jr. of Hawaii; and three sisters, Harriett Sanborn of Mississippi, Rita Leroux of California and Lelaini Hill of Oregon. The family will receive friends at the home. The family will have a service 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the National Cancer Society. Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville will be handling the arrangements.
