Ruby Mae Powell

Ruby Mae Powell, age 78, of Brodnax, VA, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Snead Brown and Bulah Wray Brown; her husband, Clarence Everett Powell, Sr. She is survived by her children, Clarence E. Powell, Jr. (LaVerne), Bobby “Dino” Powell (Nina Ann), and Wanda Jean Williams, seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Areliene, Kathleen, Rita, and Delores.

 A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Williams Funeral Home followed by interment at Bethel Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
