Ronald Earl Brown, 75, died peacefully surrounded by loved ones at his home just one week after being diagnosed with cancer. He was a talented musician who played guitar, banjo, steel guitar and sang in bands (Gold Rush) throughout eastern North Carolina.  He loved the old hymns and old country music.
