Robert Bryant Lafoon

Robert Bryant Lafoon, age 63, of Dundas, VA, passed away Friday, May 15, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his father, Elvin Louis “Shorty” Lafoon, Jr.; a sister, Ladora Lawson; and a brother, Elvin Louis Lafoon III.

Bryant was the owner and operator of Bear Trucking. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and his hounds. He was friendly and outgoing and was always up for a good time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his sons, Ryan Lafoon and wife, Samantha, and Jamie Lafoon and fiancé, Crystal Short; grandchildren, Ashton Lafoon, Aubreigh Lafoon, Sophia Lafoon, and Carter Lafoon; his mother, Joyce Lafoon; a sister, Linda Townsend; a niece, Shannon Painter; and a nephew, Steven Bradley.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Williams Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, VA. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m.
