Richard Jackson Harrup

Richard Jackson Harrup of Sanford, N.C., formerly of Yale, VA passed away June 28, 2018. He is the son of the late Richard Lee and Emma Julia Harrup. He is survived by his children, Kathy Miller, Diane Clary and husband Dick and Julia Lucy and husband Chris; his grandchildren, Amanda Seward (Joe), Chad Fajna (Mivry), Meagan Clary, Brett Clary, Kelley Newcomb (Cory), Shawna Harrup, Brandon Clary (Crystal) and Ryan Lucy (Emily); eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and his sister, Evelyn Matthews and husband Lumuel. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Williams Funeral Home with interment at Oakwood Cemetery, Lawrenceville. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
