Richard Douglas Evans

Richard Douglas Evans, age 57, of Lawrenceville, VA passed away February 16, 2023.  He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Peyton Evans.  He is survived by his mother, Vivian Brewer Evans; his brother, Mark Evans and wife Kathy; three nieces; four great nephews; and one great niece.  Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, VA with Rev. Chad Patton residing.  Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Lawrenceville, VA.  The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 prior to the service, at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org/donate or the Brunswick County Cancer Association, P.O.
