Raymond Holmes Kemp

Raymond Holmes Kemp, age 80, of Lawrenceville, VA, passed away April 22, 2018. Mr. Kemp was the retired owner and operator of Kemp Trucking, Inc. and a United States Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Amy Price Kemp; three children, Rhonda Alexander and husband, Marlon, Ray Kemp, and Eddie Kemp; grandchildren, Jaidan M. Alexander, London Reid, Tonya Reid, and Sade Reid; and two brothers, Lee Kemp and wife, Shirley and Kenneth Kemp. He was preceded in death by a son, Tre'vel Reid. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Southside Senior Citizens Center, Inc., 3495 Grandy Road, Brodnax, VA 23920. Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, will be handling the arrangements.
