Peggy Nichols Allen

Peggy Nichols Allen, age 78, of Disputanta, VA, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Laura Lambert and her father, Edward Nichols. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dennis Wayne Allen; a daughter, Morgan A. Ingram and husband, Joshua S. Ingram; and a granddaughter, Rigsby Anne Ingram.

Peggy retired from Philip Morris in 1998, after 24 years of service. She was a dedicated servant to the Prince George Public School System, volunteering countless hours with the PTO at multiple county schools, and as a board member for the Prince George Alliance for Education Foundation for many years. She also devoted several years as a volunteer secretary for Gregory Memorial Presbyterian Church. 

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2025 at Gregory Memorial Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends following the service.

The family would like to express their gratitude to her devoted caregivers, Alice Robinson and Gloreen Thompson, At Home Care and Hospice for their care and support, and Petersburg Home for Ladies for the outstanding care provided over the past 15 months.
