Paul McKinley Rinker

Paul McKinley Rinker, age 75, of Hopewell, VA, formerly of Dinwiddie County, passed away at his home on August 14, 2026.

He was the son of the late Thomas Milton Rinker and Lillie Mae Moody Rinker. He was also preceded in death by a son, Vinny Rinker; a brother, Jeff Rinker; and a sister, Susan Hagood.

Paul is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marianne Rinker; a daughter, Wendy McClellan; a son, Bobby Allen (Heather); grandchildren, Kylie and Taylor Allen, Bradley and Wyatt Trinkle, Camryn and Sydney Rinker, Layne Puryear, and Rachel McClellan; a brother, Tommy Rinker (Nadine); sisters, Dianne Dean (Danny) and Sonia Jones (Scott); brother-in-law, John Hagood, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Freddie Ross and his best friends, Dale and Sherry.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2026 at the Dinwiddie Moose Lodge, 7212 Boydton Plank Road, N. Dinwiddie, VA 23803.
