Myles Tredway Moore

Myles Tredway Moore, 89, of Triplet, Virginia passed away at ECU Hospital, Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina on Thursday, June 30, 2022.He was born July 3, 1932 to the late John Edgar Moore and Mary Alice Taylor Moore. He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. Myles is survived by his devoted wife of 69 years, Elma Ellis Moore. He was the loving father to Ellis Myles Moore and Ann Moore Smith and the proud grandfather of Emily Ann Smith and Ryan James Smith. Myles was a Korean War Veteran, a charter member of the Triplet Volunteer Fire Department, and a lifetime member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church. He was the owner and operator of Lawrenceville Motor Service, Inc. for 22 years until his retirement in 1998. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Pleasant Hill Christian Church, Gasburg, Virginia. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.
