Mary Elizabeth Conner Hobbs

Mary Elizabeth Conner Hobbs, age 88, of Emporia, Virginia passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020. Born in Brunswick, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late John H. Conner and Mary Prickard. She is preceded in death by her son, Joseph Randolph “Randy” Hobbs, Jr. She was best known for her generosity, strong will, and love of pets. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Donna Hobbs; her god son, Brad Phillips (Kenna); her grandchildren, Sonya Lee (Whit) and Nicholas Hobbs; her great grandchildren, Jacob and Charlotte Lee and Riley Hobbs; and her fur baby, Patches. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on March 1, 2020 at Williams Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Virginia. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
