Mary Beth Gibbs

Mary Beth Gibbs, age 47, of Church Road, VA, passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, while surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Mike Gibbs; her daughter, Mattie Gibbs; her parents, Granville and Barbara Maitland; her sister, Kimberly Maitland; her brother, Chris Maitland; her mother-in-law, Mary Jane Hatton and husband Larry; her brother and sister-in-law, James Gibbs and wife Nikki; as well as a large extended family and several special friends who were by her side throughout her illness.

A special thank you goes to her Farm Bureau work family and her “un-official boss” Dudley Allen.

A celebration of Mary Beth’s life will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Trinity Community Methodist Church, Church Road, VA. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 4:00 p.m.
