Linda Eaton Wright

Linda Eaton Wright, age 73, of Brodnax, VA, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas A. and Frances Collier Eaton, and her sister, Barbara Gray.

After years of working as a waitress, Linda found her true calling as a child care provider for numerous children in the Gasburg Community. She was  a faithful member of Ruth Memorial Chapel and enjoyed being active when her health allowed.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, James Carlton Wright; her children, Michelle Vick (David), Angela Evans, Kevin Wright (Melanie), and Bryan Wright (Magen); grandchildren, Taylor Evans (Kayla), Savannah Evans, Amanda Evans, Brycen Vick (Taylor), Blake Vick, Cody Wright (Miranda), Nick Wright, and Colton Wright; great-grandchildren, Ava Comly, Adalynn Writtenberry, Amran Chittum, Aston Evans, Mattison Thomas, Jaelyn Thomas, and Logan Thomas; sisters, Joan DiAngelo and Pat Rose (Lewis), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Williams Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, VA, followed by interment at the Wright Family Cemetery in Gasburg, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
