Leonard Meade Coleman

Leonard Meade Coleman, age 80, of Dinwiddie, VA, passed away Friday, October 10, 2025, at home with his family by his side.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Emma “Betty” Coleman; his mother, Mary G. Coleman; his father, Albert W. Coleman; and siblings, Albert W. Coleman, Jr., Janice M. Coleman, and Henry S. Coleman.

Leonard is survived by his son, Ronnie Coleman; his three grandchildren, Joshua, Kaitlyn (River), and Dillon Coleman; a great grandchild, Journey Mae, who was his “little boss,” his sister, Ann McAfee (Bob), along with many other loving family and friends.

Leonard was a jack of all trades, including farming, auto mechanic, auto body repair, electrical, and so on. He was a husband, a father, and the best Papa.

A graveside funeral service, conducted by Pastor Robert Rowland, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Prospect Christian Church Cemetery, 13422 White Oak Road, DeWitt, VA 23840.
