Kenneth Harvey Moody

Kenneth Harvey Moody, age 86, of White Plains, VA, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022.He was the son of the late John Wesley and Margaret Kinker Moody, and was widowed by Gayle Hawkins Moody. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Prince Moody, Ernest Moody, George Moody, and Al Moody, and two sisters, Ruby Hite and Margaret Baisey. Mr. Moody was a lifelong dairy farmer and the owner operator of Plainview Dairy for 62 years. He is survived by his sons, Kenneth Moody (Robin), Warren Moody (Lisa), and Tracy Moody (Jean); grandchildren, Jason Moody (Katherine), Wesley Moody, Anthony Moody (Sam), Tiffany Moody, and Kaid Moody; great-grandchildren, Wil, Harper, Abigail, Luke, Nathan, Esther and Axel; a brother, E.B. Moody (Phyllis); a sister, Rose Ferguson (Gene). He is also survived by a special friend, Geneva Poythress; a devoted nephew, Johnny Baisey (Linda), as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Crestview Memorial Park, La Crosse, VA.
