Katie Eleanor Rook Wells

Katie Eleanor Rook Wells, age 84, of McKenney, VA passed away August 9, 2022. She is the daughter of the late William and Lula Rook and is preceded in death by her husband, John Irvin Wells; sisters, Jean Marie Rook, Mary Ferguson, Martha Delbridge and Vanice Delbridge; and brothers, Dallas, Shelton, W.L., Hubert and Marvin Rook. She is survived by her sons, Walter Wells and wife Tina and Stephen Wells and wife Michelle; two sisters, Betty Cook and Alma Wrenn; and two special nieces, Faye Rader and Jean Colston. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Concord Presbyterian Church, Rawlings, VA with interment at Crestview Memorial Park, La Crosse, VA. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service.
