Karen Lynne Hicks Conlee

Our beloved mother and MiMi,Karen Lynne Hicks Conlee left us to go sit on the beach in heaven on Sunday, 6/19/2022. Although it was sudden and unexpected, she is no longer in pain and is able to be healed, happy, and cancer free. She is survived by her husband of 48 years David E. Conlee, daughter Daiva Conlee-Lipford, son-in-law Justin Lipford, and grandchildren Lexee and Chaize, daughter Danna Conlee and wife Eleanor Conlee, step grandchildren Lauren, Justin and Brody. Karen loved her family, life, and the beach. She lived every day to the fullest and her family was her world. She loved her friends and never met a stranger. She would give you the shirt off her back just to see you smile. She was a mom to so many and loved by all. Our lives will never be the same, but we are so happy that we had her to call wife, mom and MiMi. A celebration of Karen’s life will be held from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Longstreet’s Deli, 302 N. Sycamore Street, Petersburg, VA 23803.
