Joseph Edward Clark

Joseph Edward Clark “Peepaw”, of Freeman, VA passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019. He was the son of the late Pauline Jenkins and Joseph Lamar Clark of Richmond, VA. Mr. Clark is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara. Also surviving are his devoted children, Terri (Ronnie), Michael and Jeffrey; six grandchildren, Brandi Stetson (Chas), Joey Maitland, Corey Clark, Shannon Maitland, Tori Ann Clark and Dakota Clark. Also, surviving are his two adorable Great-Granddaughters, Lydia Skye and Carlee Grace Maitland. Mr. Clark is also survived by his sisters, Jackie Shaw (Bob), Gwen Stanley (Larry) and Karen Hardy (Charles); his brother, Donnie (Janie); and nieces and nephews. Mr. Clark was retired from the Bureau of Fire Richmond after 27 years of service and was a member of the Retired Firefighters Association. Visitation will be held on Saturday at Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, VA from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home with interment to follow in the Clark Family Cemetery. Our special thanks to the Virginia Cancer Institute, Dr. Shobha R. Nalluri and Joe’s nurses, Allison and Karen. Especially his guardian angel that kept everything translated for us, Vicki.
