Joseph Bradford McClenny

Joseph Bradford McClenny “Papa”, age 83, of Lawrenceville, VA passed away peacefully October 3, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. B. McClenny and Ruby McClenny Moseley. He is survived by his sons, Brad McClenny and wife Patsy and Wade McClenny and wife Julie; his four grandchildren, Tiffany Kanipe and husband Patrick, Mandy Koufoudakis and husband Lambros, Jeremy McClenny and Megan McClenny (Tyler Busam); his great grandchildren, Amelia, Cale, Austin and Alexia; his lifelong friend, Jenny Showalter and her sons, Hugh Showalter and wife Kate and their children, Wallace and Turner and Rob Showalter and wife Alma and their children Robert and Warren. He was very proud of his family and loved them all dearly. Bradford was the owner of McClenny’s Exxon and served the community for over 50 years. He was a member of Lawrenceville Baptist Church and a retired member of the Lawrenceville Volunteer Fire Department. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Lawrenceville Baptist Church with a visitation following the service.
