John Carson Thomas, Jr.

THOMAS John Carson Thomas, Jr., age 70, of Lawrenceville, VA passed away September 2, 2017. He is the son of the late Idella Hornsby and John Carson Thomas, Sr. He is survived by his children, Dan Thomas, Christie Grey Wilson and husband Richard, Jonathan Thomas and Courtney Thomas; his grandchildren, Savannah and Mariah; his three sisters, Barbara Dove, Nancy Henry and husband Richard and Judy Radford and husband Mike; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a brother-in-law Richard Dove. A celebration of life will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at his home, 2708 Planters Rd., Lawrenceville, VA 23868. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Lawrenceville Volunteer Fire Department, 400 N Main Street, Lawrenceville, VA 23868 or Edgerton United Methodist Church, 92 County Pond Rd., Lawrenceville, VA 23868.
