Jo Ann King Mayton

Jo Ann King Mayton, age 75, of Lawrenceville, VA, passed away February 4, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Bonnie King, and her husband, T. O. Mayton. 

She is survived by her children, Mitzi Mayton Pearce (Chris) and T.J. Mayton (Melissa); her grandchildren, Tim S. Pearce, Gillian and Alexis Mayton; her sister, Faye Martin (Harry); her brother, Jeff King (Carolyn) and numerous nieces and nephews. 

The family would like to thank the staff of VCU/CMH E.R. and Intensive Care for their amazing care. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Williams Funeral Home & Crematory, Lawrenceville.
