Jesse Leroy Mason, Jr.

Jesse Leroy Mason, Jr., age 64, of McKenney, VA, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 1, 2026.

Born in Warfield, VA, he was the son of the late Jesse Leroy Mason, Sr. and Jean Carolyn Lucy Mason. He was also preceded in death by his brother, William Hardy Mason.

Jesse was a fixture in the McKenney community. He loved to ride his scooter around town and would lend a hand to anyone that needed help. He will be missed by everyone that knew him.

Jesse is survived by his sisters, Brenda Mason and husband, Anthony Stith, and Rebecca Mason and her companion, Ricky Crump; nephews, Michael Crump and Jonathan Crump; a niece, Jessica Crump; a great-nephew, Travis Crump; a great-niece, Lillian Crump; and a special friend, Kenny Powers.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Williams Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, VA. The family will receive friends following the service.
