Janet Williams Waller

Janet Williams Waller, age 85, of Alberta, VA, passed away Friday, May 31, 2024.

A lifelong resident of Brunswick County, she was the daughter of the late Robert David Williams, Sr. and Dorothy Mae Flowers Williams. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Ison, and two grandchildren, Benjamin Waller, V and Daniel Waller.

Mrs. Waller was an active member of the Alberta community where she was elected Mayor and Town Council member. She was also a member of the Junior Woman’s Club and loved singing in the choir at New Hope Christian Church. She will be remembered most as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Waller is survived by her husband of 68 years, C.B. Waller; a son, Curtis Benjamin Waller, IV (Claudia) of White Plains, VA; daughters, Rhonda Waller Stainback of Forest, VA and Hope Waller Harrell of Chester, VA; grandchildren, Lauran   Martyn (Daniel), Joseph Ruric Stainback, V (Kimberly), Macie Harrell (Palmer Jones); great-grandchildren, Sophie and Joseph Stainback, VI, Alexis Danna, Cash Waller, Morgan Waller, and Brooklyn Waller; granddaughter-in-law, Jennifer Waller; brother, Robert David Williams, Jr. (Denise), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Amedisys Home Healthcare, as well as Delores Dickerson, for providing excellent, loving care. Mom loved all of you.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at New Hope Christian Church, Danieltown, VA.
