Jacqueline Snead Browder

Mrs. Jackie Snead Browder, age 90, of Dolphin, Virginia died Sunday, January 22, 2023 after a short illness at VCU in Richmond, Virginia.  She was born in Halifax County, Virginia to the late Jack Holcomb Snead and Pearl Crenshaw Snead.  Jackie was a longtime member of Liberty Church.  She loved reading books, reading her bible, jigsaw puzzles, playing games and reading the news on the computer.  Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Browder; three brothers, John Henry Snead, Charlie Snead and Luther Hampton Snead; four sisters, Pauline Crews, Mattie Throckmorton, Rosa Vasser and Macie Blackstock.  She is survived by two daughters, Sherry Pitt and Tammy Jones (Lonnie); a son, Donnie Wilmouth (JoAnn); her grandchildren, Dillon Lowrey, Carley Jones, Don Wilmouth and Brent “Bubba” Wilmouth; four great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.  A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2022 at Liberty Church Cemetery, Dolphin, Virginia.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Church Cemetery Fund c/o Lynn Roberts, 282 Lloyd’s Run Place, Dolphin, VA 23843 or Brunswick EMS, P.O.
