Jackie Hale Williams

Jackie Hale Williams, age 74, of Dundas, VA, passed away at his home on Friday, October 9, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lewis Williams.

Jackie is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lynn Krantz Williams; his children, Kyle Williams (Tanya), Kelly Carter (Van), and Kacy Hightower (Daniel); his grandchildren, Cooper, Addison, Brody, Kate, Chloe, Callie, and Karlie; his mother, Dorothy Hammonds Williams; his siblings, Michael Williams, Valerie Hite (Mike O’ Donnell), and Bobbie Lugo (Chris); and his niece and nephew Nicole Glass (James) and Curt Williams (Crystal).

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend who never missed an opportunity to make someone laugh. Known for his quick wit, endless jokes, and silly sense of humor, he had a way of bringing laughter wherever he went. He was always joking and rarely took life too seriously, unless someone left the door open! A hardworking man throughout his life, he was both a pharmacist and a farmer who took pride in all that he did. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially a good meal, a day spent rabbit hunting, and time spent with family and friends. He lived life with humor, worked hard, loved his family, and never passed up a chance to make someone smile. While his family and friends will miss him more than words can express, they will forever cherish the laughter, love, and countless memories he leaves behind. The world will be a little quieter without his jokes, but the stories and laughter he gave to those who loved him will live on forever.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at New Hope Christian Church followed by interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m.
