Howard Eugene Pierce

Howard Eugene Pierce, age 63, of Gasburg, VA, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021. A former resident of Roanoke Rapids, NC, he was the son of the late Linwood Earl and Gladys Jarman Pierce. He was also preceded in death by a son, Gary Pierce, and the mother of two of his children, Tammy Pope. Howard will be remembered as a kind and generous man, a loving husband and father, and a faithful friend. He was a guardian angel in life and death. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Judy Edwards Pierce; children, Kim Pierce, Austin Pierce, and Amber Pierce; step-daughter, Stacy Coley; daughter-in-law, Jessica Pierce, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Doris Pierce, Robin Pierce, Jimmy Pierce, Steve Pierce, Amos Pierce, Ronnie Pierce, and Tracy Pierce. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2021 at Williams Funeral Home & Crematory in Lawrenceville, VA.
