Harold Mullins

At noon on December 26, 2023, Harold Mullins was called to his eternal home at the age of 79 years. He was born in Avondale, WV on December 31, 1943, the seventh son of Lola and Isom Mullins. He married Angela Faith Bohl on August 27, 1965. They were blessed with two children, Leslie Andrew and Laura Marie. Andy is married to Sheila Parker Mullins and they have two daughters, Lauren Grace and Ivey Nicole. Laura’s son is William Jared Kuc who married Charlotte Benk Kuc. He is also survived by his brothers, Donald and Sherman, and his sisters, Shirley, Bonnie, and Penny, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Harold attended Ohio University, was a policeman in Cincinnati, Ohio, a dairy farmer, pig farmer, private investigator, polygraph examiner, a sales consultant, and served as a Gideon. His most important and final endeavor, was becoming the Pastor of Margarettsville Baptist Church in Margarettsville, NC, for the past eight years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and just being outdoors.

To know Harold was to love him. He radiated his love to others in a friendly, compassionate way that was unequaled. It can be said, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”

A memorial service will be held at Margarettsville Baptist Church on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
