Gary Jay Dix

DIX Gary Jay Dix, age 84, of Emporia, VA passed away September 9, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Capps Dix; his son, Todd Dix and wife Ann; and his two granddaughters, Lauren D. Rook and husband Christopher and Meredith A. Dix. A memorial service will be conducted 6:00 p.m. Thursday at Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville. The family will receive friends Thursday after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greensville Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 108, Emporia, VA 23847.
