Elizabeth Kidd Baird

Elizabeth Kidd Baird passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 18, 2025 at the age of 73 due to cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom, her brother, Charles “Pete” Kidd, her parents, Jane Lambert Kidd and Jack Kidd.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Martha Rogers (JC) and Wynn Norris (Joe); granddaughters, Mary and Abigail Rogers and Allison Norris; grandsons, Oliver Norris and Cecil Rogers; and her sister, Rebecca Kidd.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2025 at Bethel Church Cemetery, 9783 Boydton Plank Road, Alberta, VA 23821.

A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 27, at Salisbury Country Club, 13620 W. Salisbury Road, Midlothian, VA 23113.

The family would like to thank her caregiver, Theresa Russell, as well as Crater Community Hospice for the care and support they provided.
