Edwin Meade Collie

Edwin Meade Collie, 67, of Lawrenceville, Virginia, died Thursday, March 2, 2023. He is preceded in death by his mother Erlene Annetta Cannon and his father Roy Edwin Collie. He is survived by his twin daughters Kimberly Ann Newhouse and Tracy Marie Bowling, his two brothers Leonard Collie and Bruce Collie. He was a very proud grandfather of five: Brandon Scott Collie, Bradleigh Gahlen Collie, Alyssa Grace Newhouse, Violet Mae Bowling, and Emma Marie Newhouse. Meade was a very brilliant man. He retired from the United States Postal Service as an electronic technician. He loved working on computers and was great at it. He was a jokester with a quick wit, trying to find humor in every situation. He will be dearly missed. He has so many dear friends and we will be receiving guests at Williams Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Windsor Avenue, Lawrenceville, Virginia 23868 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday March 5, 2023.
