Duane Kevin Griffin

Duane Kevin Griffin unexpectedly passed from this life into eternal life on September 22, 2019 at the age of 52. Duane is survived by his mother, Dana Martin; his beloved daughter Kayla Andrews (Alex); granddaughter Caroline Andrews; siblings, Richard Griffin, Jr.(Sharon), Jeffrey Martin, and Marsha Helsing (Kurt); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other devoted family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Richard Griffin, Sr. and step-father Clifton "Sonny" Martin. Duane was a dedicated family man and cherished his time with his family and close friend, September Kennedy, who was like a daughter to him. His proudest role in life was being a grandfather. Whether he was working on the family farm or enjoying the lake, he loved the outdoors. He was an incredibly hard worker and would lend a hand to anyone in need. His infectious laugh and bright smile were a light in this world. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. The family wishes to thank everyone for the love, kind words and support during such a difficult time. A private family "Celebration of Life" will be held in lieu of services at a later date.
