Douglas Edward Harrison

Douglas Edward Harrison, age 61, of Dolphin, VA, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020. The son of the late Edward Oliver and Fannie Bell Woodruff Harrison, Doug was a lifelong farmer and a member and officer of Dolphin Hunt Club. He will be remembered by his family as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Judy R. Harrison; son, Jonathan Edward Harrison; daughters, Dana H. Moore (Ethan) and Jennifer K. Ainsworth (Gordon); grandchildren, Steward Scott Cubbage, Joshua Lee Ainsworth, and Brandon Steven Ainsworth; sisters, Debbie H. Gibson (Tony) and Patricia H. Phillips; niece, Shannon Simmons (Matt); nephew, Jason Gibson; great-niece, Jessica Sadler (Nick), and their daughter, Berkleigh. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Williams Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, VA. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
