Donna S. Jeffries-Castro

Donna S. Jeffries-Castro, age 64, of Lawrenceville, VA, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Thomas Stainback, Sr. and Laura Ann Powell Stainback, and a son, Shaun Lee Glenn.

Donna will be remembered for her kindness and generosity, her love of animals, and her outgoing personality. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend.

Donna is survived by her husband, Mauricio Castro; a brother, James T. “Tommy” Stainback, Jr. and wife, Carolyn; a sister, Glenda S. Rawlings and husband, Mike, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Reedy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Freeman, VA.
