Donald Bain Clary

Donald Bain Clary, age 74, of Lawrenceville, Va. passed away June 14, 2018. He was the son of the late James Edward and DeHaven Tatum Clary. After graduating from Brunswick High School, Donnie Bain earned a Bachelor’s degree from Ole Miss and a Master’s degree from Lynchburg College. He then worked in the public education department for 39 years as a Teacher, Coach, Athletic Director, CTE Director and Assistant Principal. Donnie was an active member of Lawrenceville United Methodist Church where he served on various committees. He was also a member of The Original Brunswick Stew Crew, the Lawrenceville Volunteer Fire Department and the Lawrenceville Lions Club. He is survived by his wife, Ada P. “Kay” Clary; his children, Michael Clary and wife Heather, David Clary and wife Amy and Amy Williams; and his grandchildren, Chase and Alex Clary, Sydney and Maddie Williams and Jaden and Ashton Clary. A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 24 2018 at Lawrenceville United Methodist Church.
