Dennis Ray Clary

Dennis Ray Clary, age 67, of South Hill, VA passed away February 19, 2018. Dennis was a tobacco farmer who loved everything about farming. He is preceded in death by his father, Herbert Atwell Clary. He is survived by his wife, Gay Lucy Clary; his children, Candice Rae Griffin, Dennis Bryan Clary and Virginia Brooke Clary; his granddaughters, Hayley, Gabbi and Madyson; his mother, who he visited each morning, Rodessa P. Clary; his sisters, Pam Clary, who farmed with him, Angela Burns and Kim Williams; his brother, Troy Clary; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Crestview Memorial Park, La Crosse, VA. The family will receive friends at the home. Memorial contributions in Dennis’ memory may be made to the Buckhorn Volunteer Fire Department, 5972 Union Level Rd., South Hill, VA 23970 or Southside Rescue Squad, 810 W Atlantic St., South Hill, VA 23970. Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville will be handling the arrangements.
