Dean J. Rogers passed away peacefully June 19th, 2025. Born October 1957 in El Paso, Texas to Arthur and Elaine Rogers, he was one of nine loving siblings. Dean was preceded in death by Calista Rogers, his wife, his son Jason and his parents Arthur and Elaine Rogers.
Dean settled in Lawrenceville circa 1995 with his late wife Calista and children to raise a family. His career as a Service Technician with Amerigas spanned 24 years. Locksmith, Mechanic, Electrician, Engineer, Computer Specialist, Woodworker, he was a prolific tradesman. If it could be broken, he could fix it. If you had a problem, he was a solution.
Dean will be remembered as a dedicated Brother, Husband, Father and Grandfather. He was always ready to lend a hand, and always happy to grumble about it afterward. Quips, jokes and clever remarks were never in short supply, and his tongue-in-cheek snark will be fondly remembered.
Dean’s many lifelong passions included aviation, model planes, farming, camping, tracking and fishing. Any time spent exploring God's creation was time well spent. Later in life he took to shooting, attending gun shows, biking trips with family, flying drones, and weekly murder mystery nights with his beloved granddaughter. He loved and cherished time with all his grandchildren.
Dean was well known and loved in his community and will be dearly missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his children, Jimmy Rickert and wife Holly Anderson, Samantha Rogers and husband Bryan Alexander and Daniel Rogers (WAIT TO SEE IF LISTING PARTNER); his grandkids: Harmony Rogers, Maddox Alexander, Calista Alexander, Maverick Rogers; his siblings, David Rogers, Donald Rogers and wife Linda, Ronald Rogers, Rhonda Rogers, Ricky Rogers and wife Joni, and Renee Rogers; Nieces and Nephews, Jack Rogers, Charity Rogers, Kristen Rogers, Tiffany Rogers, Kristy Rogers, Justin Rogers and wife Ning Ma, Nathan Rogers, and Keith Rogers.
