David Wayne Randolph

David Wayne Randolph, 88, of Emporia, Virginia, passed away on December 26, 2022. He was born October 23, 1934 in Jefferson, Iowa.

David was a well-respected middle school shop teacher in Fairfax County, VA for over 30 years. He served in the U.S. Army and continued to support veterans throughout his life. After retirement, Dave applied his carpentry skills voluntarily to charitable causes such as the restoration of the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad in New Mexico. An honored member of Ruritan, Dave loved his country and his adopted hometown of Emporia, VA.

He is survived by sons Kent and Matt; daughters Raelyn and Maria; grandchildren Jeff, Lacy, Meagan, Will, Thomas, Sarah; great-grandchildren Laciana, Cadence and Levi. Rest in Peace Dad.
