Charles Harman Gibson

Charles H. Gibson, age 83, of Dolphin, VA passed away August 26, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Ellen Jean Gibson; his children, David S. Gibson of Gasburg, Jon W. Gibson and wife Kim of Midlothian, and Janet G. Glisson of Richmond; six grandchildren, Joanne Gibson Ivey, Wes Glisson, Woody Glisson, Meridyth Poe, Emily Gibson and Nathan Gibson and three great grandchildren, Samantha Lewis, Kristen Ivey and Madison Poe, which he loved and adored; three sisters, Dorothy G. Crane of Dolphin, Mattie G. Lewis of Emporia and Edna Mae Whitby of Lawrenceville; and two brothers, Leroy Gibson and Ronnie Gibson. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Edgerton United Methodist Church.
