Carolyn Jamerson Brown

Carolyn Jamerson Brown, age 73, of Freeman, VA, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021.She was preceded in death by her parents, James Thomas Jamerson and Mary Elizabeth Morgan Jamerson; her husband, Norman John Brown, Jr.; and a brother, James Thomas Jamerson, Jr. She is survived by a son, Thomas “Larry” Walker and companion, Star Jones; a daughter, Angela Shumate and husband, William Shumate, III; grandchildren, Todd Gordon, Lydia Gordon, Byron White, Eddie Respess, Sarah Smith, Stephanie Shumate, and William Shumate, and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Brown enjoyed taking care of her yard and was very fond of animals. She will be remembered by her family as a very loving and giving person. She will be missed.
